5 Healthy Condiments To Include In Your Weight Loss Plan
I’ve been trying to eat healthy for years and thought I had a pretty good handle on what healthy condiments were and which ones to stay away from if I wanted to keep the tummy fat off. But habit is a tricky thing. You go out for a meal and see a condiment that you haven’t had for awhile, or maybe it’s something new, and you think, “That’s just what this item needs to spice it up a bit”.
And it does add that extra bit of spice to your meal.
But, has it also added just a few more calories than normal to your healthy diet? Are you sure?
It is easy to get into the habit of using certain condiments with our meals without thinking about the added calories that often come along with that extra touch of enjoyable flavor.
At one time I had to travel quite often for business and one of my guilty pleasures was sitting down to a meal of a regional specialty after I had checked into my room. I really enjoyed trying out new flavors that were not readily available in the restaurants at home. I did try to watch what I ate when I traveled to make sure it wasn’t obviously unhealthy but I still ended up putting on a few pounds now and then.
You can avoid this trap by knowing which condiments are healthy and which condiments you need to avoid even though they may taste great! Mike Geary, author of the best selling The Truth About Six Pack Abs has made it easy for you by laying it all out in his article The Top 5 Healthiest Condiments (and the WORST).
If you’ve been pouring on the ketchup to get your daily dose of lycopene, you need to get over to Mike’s site and read this article:
