Muscle Gaining Secrets – Update
If you’re a hardgaineer, chances are you have been going about building muscle wrong because according to Jason Ferruggia’s Muscle Gaining Secrets, 95% of you are! And he should know, because he was right there with you.
Jason Ferruggia has been constantly adding to his Muscle Gaining Secrets program and recently came out with a whole new updated package. Added content. Added bonuses. Some nifty software.Plus a sub-title that really caught my eye: The Bottom Line Truth About Building Massive Muscle without Steroids. That got my attention!
The first time I took a look at Muscle Gaining Secrets I felt that it left a lot out. The content was really great as far as it went but compared to other programs available, I just didn’t think it gave you enough. A good read but lacking in some areas that you come to expect in a complete bodybuilding program.
Personally I like a complete, all-in-one program, so I was not able to give Muscle Gaining Secrets my highest recommendation. But I advised my readers to check back often as Jason was always improving his offerings and really knew his stuff.
I’m glad I took my own recommendation (for once) and revisited his site.
Just a quick read of his site shows some pretty impressive claims for Muscle Gaining Secrets. Claims that you have no doubt heard and seen many times in the past. Claims like these:
“In Less Than Three Hours Per Week You Can Easily Build The Head Turning, Ripped, Muscular Physique You Have Always Dreamed Of…Even if You Have Tried Everything Else & Failed Before.”
Without Long Workouts, Dangerous Steroids or High Priced Supplements
Strong claims like these always make me a little skeptical and set off my BS alarm. I mean, we see claims like these all the time and usually ignore them as just a bunch of marketing hype. We would all like to believe claims like this, but we know from past experience that most just don’t pan out.
So let’s cut through the hype and see what Jason actually says his program does and how he intends to deliver on the promises.
And the first thing I like to check is if the coach walks the talk, and if so, what are his/her personal results?
Well, his credentials check. Unlike many of the slick salesmen peddling fitness programs, Jason Ferruggia is actually a world renowned fitness expert. He has written hundreds of articles and appeared in top magazines and has his own monthly column. He is the head training advisor for Men’s Fitness and dedicated to helping skinny guys build muscle as fast as humanly possible.
Jason has been a lifter for 20 years and a professional trainer for the past 15 years. This is all he has ever done for a living.
His degree is in exercise science and he has numerous certifications and more “in the trenches” experience than just about anyone else in the entire fitness industry today. The qualification that really sets him apart in my mind is that he is now and always has been a natural lifter. He has never touched steroids or any other kind of legal or illegal drug to enhance his performance.
Has Jason always used his own system? No, he hasn’t. Like most of us, he came by what really works by many trials. Listening to the experts. Many things didn’t work. He discovered that a lot that he was being told was flat out wrong! It would never build the muscle he wanted!

As you can see, Muscle Gaining Secrets is a tremendous value and highly recommended by even other fitness experts. But…
…even though it offers a program for beginners as well as expert bodybuilders, it is not a program for everyone and it might not be the program for you.
Jason Ferruggia tells it like it is whether you like it or not. He really doesn’t care if what he says flies in the face of many of the “experts”. He knows what works and he doesn’t sugar coat it.
If you can’t stand the truth. If you are not willing to throw out much (if not all) of what you have been told and try something new, then this is not a program you want.
But if you are ready to toss those handfuls of pills in the garbage rather than down your throat and save the money you’re wasting on supplements…
